Application of Ultrasonic Guided Cordocentesis in Prenatal Diagnosis
Objective: To explore the safety and efficacy of ultrasonic guided cordocentesis in prenatal diagnosis.
Methods: Umbilical cords were punctured under ultrasonic guided in 125 pregnancy women for prenatal diagnosis. The results of each procedure was prospectively collected and subsequebtly analysed in terms of operational complications and pregnancy outcomes.
Results: Success rate of cordocentesis was 94.4%. Complications:Transient bleeding at puncture site was observed in 40 cases(32.1%),transien fetal bradycardia in 5 cases(4%).There was no intrauterine infection, terminal abortion, preterm delivery, or intrauterine fetal death after cordocentesis.
Conclusion: Ultrasonic guided cordocentesis is a safe and effective way for prenatal diagnosis.
