Objective: Study the workflow, usefullness of ultrasound diagnostic in Vietnam
Method: Compare year by year from 2001 to 2008 the number of patient came to ultrasound Center Medic for examine abdominal, Ob-Gy, cardio - vascular, small part, ....
Medic have 50 ultrasound machines working with 60 doctors sonologist.
Working time : 7 days a week, from 4AM to 8PM, one case scan everage 10', must pay 2USD (black & white) to 10USD (3D, color Doppler)
Result: Color Doppler (CDI)% total case 30% 50% 70%
Conclusion: Ultrasound diagnostic is very USEFULL and COST EFFECTIVE, ultrasound technique is change very fast from BW to colorCDI and 3D-4D, ultrasound is the firt choice imaging diagnostic in Vietnam.now.
