  • Objective: To evaluate the ultrasound performance of the thyroid diseases in Hemodynamics, vascular spatial structure with 2D Color Doppler ultrasound, Color Power Doppler and Blood Flow (BF) in real-time 3D ultrasound imaging and contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS).
Methods: 25 cases of thyroid disease were scanned by 2D Color Doppler ultrasound, Color Power Doppler, BF in 3D real-time compound satial imaging and contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and to calculate the volume of the unilateral lobe of the thyroid, arteria thyreoidea superior thyroid artery blood flow semi-quantitative, vascular spatial structure and blood flow dynamics.
Results: (1)Of the 42 volume of the unilateral lobe of the thyroid which were lesioned, mild swelling(11~20cm³) and moderate enlargement(21~30cm³), severe swelling(≥31cm³) were 76.2%, 19.1%.(2) The vascular spatial structure of thyroid lesions and surrounding tissue were provided by Color Power Doppler and BF in 3D real-time compound satial imaging (3) The microbubble contrast agents in vascular filling speed of thyroid gland and time and intensity showed the difference about hemodynamic characteristics of normal and diseased tissue .
Conclusion: Color Power Doppler and BF in 3D real-time compound spatial imaging can also provide the vascular spatial structure of thyroid lesions and surrounding tissue, and then the lesions of benign, malignant and functional abnormalities have their own characteristics in vascular framework. Contrast-enhanced ultrasound obtains hemodynamic information.
