  • Diverse disease entities are confined in the upper and lower extremities. High resolution US is an important diagnostic tool for the assessment of these conditions. The purpose of this exhibit is to describe high resoultional ultrasonographic imaging findings of various diseases of extremities, confirmed by clinically and pathologically. They are arthritis, tendinitis, synovitis, tenosynovitis, fasciitis, bursitis, myositis, cellulitis, tendon tear, foreign bodies, trigger finger, Mallet finger, button-hole deformity, de Quervain disease, carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar nerve palsy, medial and lateral epicondylitis, muscle tear, hematoma, and variable masses. Related plain radiographic, and MR imaging features will be discussed.
