The Relevance of Characters of CDFI of and the Type of PDA

    • Objective: Observing and analyzing the flow imaging and the minimal diameter of the patients who are Patent Ductus Arterosus(PDA) by the color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI) which we got though transthoracic Echocardiography(TTE), we investigated the value of the TTE diagnosis on Patent doctus arteriosus closer.
    Methods: We observed 35 patients with PDA, and observed the site of origin, shape, direction, CDFI, the minimal diameter of the Site of origin, and the area and volume of the split stream. Then, we compared the data with the results of aortic angiography, and got the statistical analysis.
    Results: The data of CDFI about the split stream, the location of PDA, shape, the minimal diameter was positive correlation with the data of before the Patent doctus arteriosus closer(P<0.05).
    Conclusions: The diagnosis of PDA by CDFI compared with by aortic angiography is very close on the shape, minimal diameter,types of PDA. It could afford the exact information of the construction and clinic for Patent doctus arteriosus closer.
