It is our great pleasure and honour, on behalf of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM), to invite you to participate in the 12^th WFUMB World Congress, to be held in Sydney, Australia from 30^th August to 3^rd September 2009.

The Organising Committee and Scientific Program Convenors for WFUMB '09 have designed a stimulating conference that aims to accommodate new developments and applications of ultrasound in medicine. The ASUM shares a common global goal of establishing high standards for “PROMOTING EXCELLENCE IN ULTRASOUND” and the safe effective use of ultrasound in medicine. The WFUMB World Congress will offer an ideal forum to join your peers and colleagues in ultrasound from all around the world.
